Advice Please
Just bought a 2012 WG about a month ago. The bike only has a little over 4K on the clock. I noticed that the baffles were removed on the stock exhaust. The bike seems to go a little lean, loosing power in the 3.5 to 4K RPM range. So, I am under the assumption that the bike wasn't tuned to match the Air/Fuel variance the comes along with modifying the exhaust be it removal of baffles or what have you. Question is: am I being paranoid, or should this be addressed? If so, what should I look into doing to correct the issue? Oh, I checked my oil level after a short ride and the dip stick smelled like fuel I don't see how this can be normal, or how could even happen really. Has anyone else ever experienced this, if so what caused it? I did get a warranty with the bike so, if a catastrophic failure is immanent, I should be good right?

If you're concerned about a lean condition, pull your spark plugs and look at their color. They should be light brown... darker is more fuel, lighter is less fuel. You do not want to see them towards the 'white-ish' side of things.
