Was wondering if this would be almost as good as any other stage 1 air cleaner or a waist of money? And if so what is the cheapest high flow A/C that people know of, doesn't have to be anything pretty as long as it has the function. I can always mess with it.
It's for a 2014 FXDB thanks
Ness Big Sucker and DK Customs Outlaw are the least expensive stage 1 intakes I've seen.
I had a DK intake with their external breathers, but I ride at high rpms and get lots of blow by. I was wiping oil mist off my bike every day, so I went back to an internal set up from Alloy Art.

How much you looking to spend ????????
DK Customs has a good selection of Air Intake System's, price's are very reasonable, great customer service, and super fast shipping........
If you are interested I have a Screamin Eagle Stage 1 for your bike, everything you need, like new condition.....
It comes with the stock SE filter element, a K&N HD-0808 filter element and black powder coated filter cover...... See pic's
Yeah I've been looking at DK and the big sucker, leaning towards DK just because of their customer service, and I'm generally at lower RPMs (daily commute cruzin) and just trying to be cheap is all haha. Goal is to suck as much MPG out of it as I can. With the occasional, showing up the guy who thinks he's can beat me in a car haha
And californiafatbob2013 shoot me a PM of what you would sell it for to a young combat vet like myself who's getting out soon (had to add a little guilt trip in there haha, gotta at least try hahaha)

LMAO........ Good one..........
I was trying to get $175.00 plus shipping, but since you are a VET like myself
(USMC) Urah.......
I would do $150.00 shipped depending on where I have to ship to?????
This set is in excellent condition with very low mile's.......
This set up cost me around $250.00 new plus shipping cost..........

I went with the premium discrete breather system on my DK 636v and routed the line into a killer little catch can to avoid the issue you were having.
I like not having the breather dumping back into the air intake, I have noticed a nice difference with with that set up..........
By the way thanks again for all you input with the Ricor install, all s working fairly well, but not perfect..... Seem's to me the Fatbob has a lot more weight up front and with the fork angle it took me a little bit of riding to find the sweet spot as far as pre-load.....
I think I ended up at 1 1/8" seem's to be the best for all around condition's.
I'll echo the 587, I also added the premium discreet external breather (add $12) with no problems but I don't tend to push past 3200 RPM currently (Still under 1000 miles). I have mine routed up front right now so should be no worries on blow back
