Shifting problems

I have a 2002 low rider with a little over 33k miles and it has recently decided to give me problems shifting from first to second, it gets caught in neutral and doesn't seem to want to shift up. I can shift back down to first, after an attempt or two it will go into second. I do not have any problems shifting so to any other gears.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When was the last time you swapped primary and tranny fluid? Do you have enough or too much?

The best case scenario would be too much primary fluid or needing a clutch adjustment or worse case the shifting pawl going bad.
