Default Auto Tune questions

last year I bought my V&H pipes and Power Vision and have never ran the Autotune. I am going to do that this weekend and have a couple of questions. I did not get the Dynojet Autotune Wideband 02 control module. Will the AutoTune Basic provide sufficient tuning?

When I enable Autotune and start a session and save the session and export/flash to ECM. Does this flash "learned" values to my current ECM or does this "learned" values set up another tune in another slot? What if I keep performing Autotune will this keep adding another tune to my slots in my Tune Manager slots?

Basic auto tune is good enough for minor adjustment, however auto tune pro uses wide band air fuel ratio sensors instead of o2 sensors. The adjustment will be more precise and accurate.
Here is how you do it.
1. Make a copy of your current tune, turn on auto tune basic, it will ask what tune you want to use, selet copy of current tune.
2. Restart engine, go back to auto tune and hit datalogging. It will start collecting data when it reaches operating temperature. Ride it in town and highway for at least 20-30mins.
3. Kill switch and shut off bike, kill switch on, export learn and save new file to new slot.
4. If you want to continue auto tuning, start from step 1 and choose the latest auto tune file and re-tune.
That simple!

you have to pick the slot when you hit export learned.
then you will need to flash that down to the bike.

it depends on how rich your tune is as to whether or not you'll need to go wideband.
