Default Painting Bars
How difficult would it be to paint a set of bars? I really like the bars I have (stock/chrome) but I would like to go black. I'm having a difficult time finding an aftermarket replacement that is the same size as my current bars. I've painted parts before but I'm not sure how well the paint would stand up on a set of bars.

Best bet would be either sandblast, prime, paint, clear, or sandblast send out for powder-coat.

powder coating is your best bet for bars. Just mark where the grip and perch goes and tape it off.

Are the bars the beach bars you already have on? Can try plasti dip. Tape off everything and spray on thin coats. Overspray is easy to clean up. I had it on my fork lowers and held up pretty well.
