Default My first mod

Finally did my first mod on SB. I put a 2.5 in. Tank lift from DK. It fit perfect without having to change any hoses.

I did not use a dealer purchased device, I made my own but none the less i think it really makes the bike look much better. Most folks wont notice you done it till you park besides a stock height bike. But once you do you will notice how awesome it looks. PS. Since i did it i had to make about 6 more for my brothers

I have always been indifferent to tank lifts until now. My 2007 Low Rider has some rather tall pullback risers that incorporate the idiot lights. I'm not real fond of these original risers and have been looking at new risers and bars and relocating the idiot light.

I guess my point is that a tank lift that brings the top of the tank almost up to the top clamp would really disguise or compliment the original risers. It would also keep my idiot lights handy front and center in the top clamp.

Because I use my phone to post on this sight I have not figured out how to post pictures. Some day I'll get on a computer and see if I can do it then.
