Default just a good idea...

So I have been trolling on these forums and I notice that some parts people are replacing at interval just in case.

I'm coming up on my 20k and I was curious is there anything that is just a good idea to replace this service? Any parts that just common wear out around this milage that isn't in the manual?

I haven't noticed any leaks or spots except where the clutch cable enters the clutch cover (I plan in investigating that) thanks for all the input!!

There are no hard and fast rules man, and judging by the response, you should take silence as golden. Sounds like you may want to start with a new clutch release cover gasket?....

I have, but never at 20,000 miles. I did the spark plug wires at 50,000 and I did the cams and bearings at 81,000 miles, the fuel filter and hoses at 92,000. wheel bearings (the good ones '00 to '07,) at 100,000 miles and the spring cap on the compensator at 120,000 miles.

I think you're thinking right but you're also a little early.

Like stiggy said good thinking but that dang bike is still new!

"If ain't broke; don't fix it"

Your tranny leak 97% of the time is from someone either over-tightening or under-tightening that cable where it goes in to the tranny cover, more often than not it was over-tightened.
The good news is it rarely gets much worse, and with the occasional wipe can be kept clean until your ready to change the cable which costs about 50$.
It would likely not be coming from the clutch cover gasket which is metal and in most cases can be re-used, I re-used mine three times and haven't had a leak.

Silence is golden...I love it. Thanks and yeah, it's still new as far as miles go! No longer enlisted so it will get more attention! Thanks for responses

I did 2 of my bikes wheel bearings around 50,000. one was a 05 dyna and the other a 2007 touring bike. They were already beginning to leak grease so i replaced them as a preventative measure but neither would have went anywhere near 100,000 miles.
