It's around 3-3500 at 80 and idles around 1100

02 FXD here. Has there been times when I wished I had a 6 speed? Yeah, going 80 mph on the highway it tends to sound a little high.

I figured when I win the lottery then I'll get that 124" s&s kit with the baker tranny and clutch...but until then the 88ci 5speed is perfect.

I didn't get up to 80 coming to work this mroning but at 70 it's at 3200 rpm.
My 03 Low Rider idles around 800-900.

well i have a 96" with a six speed... while touring because of the 6 speed i used less gas than the two 88" 5 speeds i was travelling with.....around town and such i never find the need for the 6..............so depends on your driving habits

I have had my 2003 Low Rider for 3 months now. Bought it with 1053 miles on it. I am almost at my 5k service now. I haul *** everywhere and never feel the need for a 6th gear. 3500 rpm seeems low coming from a ZX10. It was close to 7k at 80.
