My son likes the cast wheels on my 01 SG and I would rather have spokes so I have been studying swapping the spokes on his 04 FXDLI for the cast wheels on my FXD. Everything looks compatible so we are going to just see if they fit while we have his apart.

What year is your bike? If we are talkin 06/07 and up, then yes, everthing is a straight swap EXCEPT for the front brake rotor. There is an exception on axles..I think 06 -07 had 1" axles, then in 08 to current has 25 mm. I could be a little off on the years. If you want the older (05 and down) 13 spoke style mags, on a newer dyna then it is a more involved swap. Machining needs to be done to put the bearings for the newer bikes in the old wheels. Someone else chime in if I'm wrong.

I would love to get rid of my spokes, unfortunately the cast wheels don't come up for sale to often.

Easy swap then! You will just need the front rotor, rotor bolts, and spring washers for the mag wheels. Everything else is a direct swap with 07 and up wheels. I just did a wheel swap for my buddy about a month ago on his 2010 street bob.

I think 06 has a 16" rear wheel as well, but I might wrong. Same style wheel just smaller than 07 up.
