I just purchased a new Dyna Low. I will eventually be doing a full stage 1. Right now Im looking to upgrade the exhaust for some more noise. Not looking to be obnoxiously loud just want to let drivers around me know Im there. Are there any slip on options I can use that wont reduce performance as Im not ready to shell out the money for the intake and programmer? It is a 2:1 system stock.
I think I saw where the dealers sell a Screamin Eagle slip on with tunable discs. It looks like the Supertrapp muffler. If it's the same or similar you should be able to control how loud the exhaust will sound.
Congrats! like you, I was not happy with the stock exhaust and even the SE nightstick slip on was too quiet for me. ( I was a big vance and hines kind of guy lol). Anyway my advise to you before you spring for a slip on, do some research and listen to it in person or on youtube. The SE nightstick performed good but you are still limited by the restrictive cat in the stock headers. I eventually decided to just replace it with a full exhaust kit. Wish I had done it sooner. Now I'm happy
Any switchback slip on will fit the new low rider. I went with a cycle shack slip on and didn't like it so I modified the baffle. Don't care for that much either so I'll be ordering a full exhaust soon

I dont think the current slip on offerings are the problem...it's the cat converter inside the stock 2-1 exhaust imho. It is just too restrictive by design. I ordered the full exhaust system when I saw what was actually inside our 2-1 headers. It just had to go.

congratulations on the new ride. I plan on leaving the stock exhaust on, but am planning on removing the cat this winter to reduce heat and relieve the restriction.. I just last week installed the night rider FL-VIED10. you would not believe the heat reduction even with the cat in by enriching the fuel mix just a bit.
