This is my Baby, and I am scared I may have scared her for life!!! I had an this idea of putting custom flames on my 06 Bob after I came across about 8 other Bobs that looked just like mine at the Region 1 ABATE ride last year. I am a little disappointed because the paint was suppose to be a denim type paint also that would be a close match to the original paint. It looks like the guy used sign paint, but he did a hell of a job I think. At first I thought it was pinstripped but you can see it was hand painted.I want some opinions and here is the place where you know everyone knows what they speak of. I am also looking for a swing arm mounted plate holder. I have found one but it is 4 weeks back ordered already and I wanna ride!!

Dunno what yer worried about, looks fine to me, wish I had some...

 

Also, I am having trouble finding new pipes. 06's have an oxygen sensor that most pipes don't accept. And I have the S.E. II's on it now, but want something with more throat and add something to the wrist.

 

Really? I find pipes all over for the 06 and 07's with O2 sensors. One can always drill and weld bungs into the pipes that do not have them. Cobra, V&H, Bub, D&D and others come to mind.

Ya, it is. I guess the guy sat on the seat to keep from taking the tank off. I think he did a great job other then using a glossy paint.

 

After you said that I went hunting around the 'net and found alot. I have been relying on a friend who owns his own shop for that info. Do any of you know anything about Bassani Pipes?

 

Looks like a really good job, not much to worry about from my point of view
