If the pads aren't fully on the friction surface of the rotor, maybe moving it all towards the axle slightly would allow the full pad surface to be in the friction band. If this is already the case, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
The bosses on the caliper could be machined to lower onto the rotor.

I am the original poster of this thread and have experience with them. The calipers need to be spaced because the rotor would hit the Caliper on the inside. When I first bought them Speed Merchant said you need spacers to equate to 150 thousandths for a good sweep. They do sit higher on the rotor than the stock pads

Can you relieve the inside of the caliper body?

Thank you for your help. I may describe wrong.
Here is a marked pic. The distance of pad to rotor edge on top is smaller than the bottom.

The only thing worries me is the rotor may wear un evenly.
And I found a document from Brembo showing the mounting spec(not sure which calliper for) which made me more worried.


Other than that, it’s a great setup.
