Fairing finally arrived... :)
I was looking at the Rifle roadster and the retro t-sport fairings. The only thing I did know, was that I wasn't gonna put the Dougz on....
For installing the Rifle I would have to convert to single headlight ( and taller bars for it to look good ), which made it too expensive.
Conely's make a very cool straight fit t-sport for the fat bob, but I red some people complaining about finnish and buffeting ( might not be an issue any more ), but I figured it wasn't worth the risk....
So I ended up ordering the Dougz anyways. The reason I didn't want the Dougz in the first place was that I didn't like the look of it. But looks wasn't the main reason for getting a fairing in the first place and people seemed to be very happy with the way it performed... So I ended up biting the bullet and put in an order earlier this summer....
Well it showed up this friday, so I went straight ahead and mounted it... I also moved the turnsignals under the tripletree and mounted some rubber forkboots while I was at it to compliment the look...
The fairing works very good, and looks way better in person, so I'm real happy...
At first I was a little bit pissed off, because the fairing didn't line up with the headlight, but it turned out the be the light that was crooked, so "Doug" actually did a better job than Moco...

Not painted yet, and looks surprisingly good in the raw finnish. Will be painted eventually though.....
My headlight was also tilted to the right... Don't really need that since we have sunlight 24/7 most of the ridingseason up here in northern Norway...
Doug is a stand up guy and his products are top notch.
