Default Suspension upgrade

After a trip down interstate 70 from New Stanton Pa to Indianapolis IN for Moto GP race. I noticed some of the bumps I hit seemed to bottom out suspension. I was wondering what upgrades to go with, to enhance handling and smooth out ride . It is a 2013 Dyna Superglide custom.

Just go with some taller Řhlins from motorcyclemetal. I bought the 12" JRIs and regret not going taller.

Have you tried adjusting the rear shocks, I have bottomed out a couple times in the lowest setting. went up one click on the rear shocks and havent bottomed out since. I am 230 lbs ride solo most of the time.

What's you budget? You could spend anywhere from $250 - $1500 for a pair of shocks.

For the front, the new Progressive monotubes are a good value at $399 MSRP, available for $336 shipped from M&M cycles. I just put them on my street bob. You can also drop in a pair of Ricor Intiminators for about $175 and significantly improve brake dive, bottoming, and rain-groove wandering.

Sky's the limit if you have the coin.

Jack Russell: we are about the same weight wise. I did go up two notches on rear shocks. It was primarily front end. Squidhead I like the Progressive mono tube idea. I buy all my stuff at M&M.
