Not with detach. The blade stalk is removed for a round stalk for the rear docking point to go between signal housing and fender strut. Don't know if it is strong enough to hold any more load as its hollow for wiring to pass through. My bike is a 12.

We supply an extra polished stainless bolt to run through the hole that the wires used to go through for that application. That bolt alone is strong enough for the bracket.

I like my Boss Bags... #32s I believe... I also used the Wide Glide turn signal and license plate relocation to move everything back to the rear fender. My main goal was to get a setup that was slim-fitting (tight to the bike unlike EasyBrackets), easy to remove and left the bike looking relatively unchanged when the bags weren't on. I succeeded.
