This is why the GT502 exist at all.............. It was very specifically designed for a 4.5" rim as I have stated over and over again when the 180 thing comes up in the Dyna forum.
The below information is DIRECTLY from the Dunlop MC tire website.
As far as I have found, Dunlop is the ONLY manufacturer that has a 180/60B17 bias made specifically for a 4.5" rim (as on the 06/07 Dyna).
As you can see the GT502 was made for the 2004 FXSTDSE2. It is a Screamin Eagle part.
1 of a kind....................... I think it would be safe to use on a Dyna, any 06/07 Dyna.
Not sayin it is any better than any other manufactures tire.
I have stuck with the 160 series.
Running a Metz at the moment.
