I purchased a 2010 Wide Glide about 8 months ago and have only put about 4k on the bike. It only had 2.5k when purchased. It has the original stock Dunlop GT502 180/60B17 M/C 75V still on the rear. I had read up on the bike and about how switchback and sharp turns could only be taken at a slow speed and with a wide arc when turning. This is absolutely the truth! I have noticed that this tire has a flat U or square profile. When you try to turn it is a real problem and I cannot keep up with my buddies who own older bikes. If someone has any feedback or can recommend a tire for this make and model which will correct this problem, it would be much appreciated. Other than that and having to add the light extension on the rear so I could add my bags, I Love this Bike.
I don't have a Wide Glide, but I've got a Super Glide which I've converted to Wide Glide sized-tires. I'm running the Pirelli Night Dragons and have been very happy with them. Handle great wet or dry. It had the factory Dunlops previously and these definitely seem to handle better.
I have been running metzler me880 200/55/17 on my bike for the last 2 years. They have have a nice round profile and fill the fender great. I'm really happy with the way they improved the way the bike leans into then corner, it feels lighter and I don't feel like I'm having to force the bike to lean.
I had 3 of the 180 Harley tires and they wear flat in the center. Using Avon tires now. Had a storm II first and now have Avon Cobra 190/60-17. Really like it. The center of Avon tires are harder than the outside so they wear fairly even. They look good to.
I run Avon 200 on the rear & 150 on the front of my Fat Bob.
Nicer riding tire being radials. Soaks up the bumps better, lighter weigh & I can pitch the bike into corners much harder than the shitty Dunlops.
Avon should have sizes to fit the Wide-Glide. Do yourself a favor & change the front too while your at it. The ride is so much better with radial tires over the stock bias ply stockers. Best move I made.

I'm not on a Wideglide but I've very pleased with the Michelin Commander II tires that I've been running. I had not troubles riding fast and carving corners in the Black Hills last month.
Hard to go wrong with metzler tires, see which ones fit your bike and try them! However you should endure these tires until they are bald then go for it.
I opted for michelin comm.II's but I surely do not like them in the rain, my next tires will be metzler - either the 880 or the new 888, we shall see!
I have the Metzler ME880 which handle great, but front tires are known to dry rot(mine is). Also after doing my motor work the rear breaks loose in first and second....I guess too much torque is the the problem LOL. I'll be trying the Avon Venoms next.

Are you running the stock 4.5" wheel with that tire? I know it's not recommended, but it seems like those that are doing so have reported nothing but good results. Do you have any pics?
