Question Wheel swap question.

My son really likes the mags on my '01 Super Glide and I like spokes like he has on his '04 Low Rider...the front ends of both bikes look identical. Anyone know if this is a straight swap? We will need to swap out the rear pulleys as well because his is black and mine is not, What else is involved?

Thanks!

04-05 had larger diameter front axle, they will interchange if you replace the bearings on both front wheels. Might be more trouble than it's worth.

all 05 and below are 3/4 axles - 06-07 are 1 inch axles - 08 and up are 25mm axles

Thanks for the info. General consensus is that this is a one-to-one swap.

His LR is down for repairs (he high-sided a curve in July) and he wants to have powder coated mags. I told him we could swap if it was not too much trouble because I am more old-skool and I like spokes. I know we will need new bolts for the pulley swaps, (on his dime) but anything more complicated other than replacing worn bearings that need replacing anyway is not gonna happen.
