My dad has a 79 lowrider with i believe what is called a fat bob rear fender from CCI and he is missing a fender strut which i believe is also from CCI. The fender strut is unlike any i can find it has 2 mounting holes at the very back instead of the usual one hole, it also will need the turn signal holes. Even on CCI website i cant find these struts. Im trying to buy a new set for him for his birthday, thanks.
The issue you may have is it looks like the rear bolt was drilled in and is not in the stock location. It also looks to me like a HD Wide Glide rear fender put on a Low Rider, not a bad thing just might make it easier to find parts. Struts are going to be sold as a pair, so you can always relocate the bolt back to the stock location.
Neither of those are right, the bolt holes on the fender are factory not drilled. I can find the fender online new, same bolt holes as this one but no struts for it for some reason. The strut isn't drilled either that's how it came. I saw that v twin one but it's missing a bolt hole. Only 3 in the back 1 mount and 2 for turn signal. I need one that is 2 for the mount and 2 for signal.
