In the 15 months I've owned my S it's gone through almost a complete makeover. I was sitting here this morning thinking that I haven't really tracked any of it, nor have I shared anything but bits and pieces of it with you all. I really enjoy following others build threads so over the next week or so I'm going to try and compile everything I've done, issues I've ran into and solutions I've found into this 1 thread. I lost a lot of pictures on my PC to ransomware, but I'll share what I can find.
To get this thing started I'm going to list all past and current mods by topic, kind of like an Index. Cosmetic, brakes/suspension etc.. That way if someone wants info about a specific item they don't need to comb through everything.

Next up was the LeatherPros and Cycle Visions license plate relo. What else can be said about LeatherPros? Everything was top notch, start to finish. They really know what they're doing. The plate relo is a different story. The mounts and bracketry were fine but I went through 3 LED license plate covers in 5 months. To their credit Get Lowered and Cycle Visions were extremely helpful and professional in trying to make this right. Cycle Visions kept saying that they had redesigned it (thicker gauge wire and more silicone) but every cover they sent me looked exactly like the previous ones that had failed. In the end I just modified one of the ones they sent me.
Brocks Performance hooked me up with the front and rear suspension. Bitubo has an outstanding rep on the track. Racing suspension is what they do. For the price compared to other brands, it was an easy decision.
Installation on the rear was a breeze. It doesn't get much easier.
The front wasn't quite as painless because the internals on a Low Rider S are different from most Dynas. I had to track down the highlighted parts to make it come together. Most of my install pics were lost when we got hit with ransomware, but here's the long and short of it.
Not pictured is the top out spring for the other side.

Part of my "deal" at the dealership was having them install a 117 kit. I really liked it at first but it didn't take long for me to get bored with it because I knew there was a lot left on the table. I think I put 3k miles on the full SE kit before I swapped to Andrews 57h cams. Video attached.

Naturally the next step was to go all in and completely re-do everything. If I was going to commit to it I was going all in. I spent a ton of time on the phone and online researching different combinations . Pete at Zipper's helped me out a lot. Once all the components were chosen, I just had to coordinate getting the machine work done.
Cylinders removed and sent to Zippers in Baltimore
TMAN 590s going in
Heads by Salty Dawg
Almost done
Tuned by Brian Turner and DynoTune Motorsports
One morning roughly a month after getting it tuned I came out to leave for work and when I started it up there was a god awful clacking noise. It was consistent with the engine speed so I decided to park it for the day. When I got home and started tearing it down this is what I found. Luckily the bolt didn't break off so all I had to do was find another support arm and re-install. This time with RED loctite.
