Engine Guard ??????????? Help
Hi
I am just looking for GOOD things or BAd thing about engine guards I am just looking at them and wondering about safety and the look of the bike . I am just looking for some feed back from you guys

That was my first install on my '07 FXDL...partly because it was my first bike and i was terrified of dropping it. Luckily for me, i ran across a Craigslist ad for a guy selling a Lindbar highway bar for $100....which is an absolute steal. Look into the Lindbars....better looking than the HD bars and they double as engine guards and highway bars which is convenient if you have mid controls.

Might want to have this moved to the Dyna section, not the for sale section...
I personally dont think they look right on a dyna. The bikes are too thin. I like em on baggers but I think it's because the bike looks wider.

IMO, takes away from the look of the bike. I would never put them on my Wideglide even though they might save me some $$$ if I ever drop it. However, they were one of the first things I put on my wife's sporty.
