Ok came out the local watering hole last night & flipped the ignition on my street glide & instantly got a solid right turn & sold red security key light on the speedo. Smelled what I thought was something hot electrical but then it went away as fast as I smelled it. Wasn't far at all from home so clipped to the garage quick. Pulled off the bag and side cover to find this
I imagine this is what's left to my load equalizer that came with my Bad Dads fender and rear light that is my run/brake/turn. Half the rear left LEDs are out. Guess my question is, does anyone have any suggestions on a different load EQ for run/brake/turns that doesn't get hot? I really don't want another from Bad Dads being this on has only been on a season & a half
Badlands makes a few models that don't get hot and are approved for parade use even. They cost substantially more than what looks like a cheap simple resistor you have in your hand. They go around fifty or sixty bucks.
