I had a melt down once that took out all components, gen, reg, all lights blew except head light oil preasure, and the gen light cought on fire as I went down the road. Now I see some of the chargeing system goes through the flasher,I know, didnt design it,and I found one other guy that had the same thing happen.I believe all that is straightened out and looks ok but dont want to chyernoble my bike again, does that help more?I will get it but quick answear would be great.

So after it fried everything you rewired the bike?
What voltage are you getting on the battery while running and when you rev it up?
Does it do it while just sitting there and rev the motor?
Do you have a skematic you can post, my 86 does not even show a gen light.
My voltage seems good, but it was centered around what I thought. The flasher holder was not grounding good so I cleaned it good and rerivited it to the houseing. If you like I can try load up the strange wireing diagram,it is wierd.

Yes that would be good, I am interested how the turns and gen light are wired. If you want to email it let me know.
