Tricky fault. Have a 2007 Streetbob and everything worked fine till two days ago. Both front and rear RIGHT turn signals as well as the console right indicator won't work. Could this be the switch? Where do I start looking? Also, they don't flash when alarm is activated. This makes me think it's not switch-related? (Regular incandescent bulbs, not LED)
I'd start with the bulbs. I replaced one the other day that was not making contact. It would work off & on. Let's know what solved your problem. That's how we learn. Good luck.
Well, retracing my own recent work, I found the fault.
In attaching a sissy bar to my bike on the weekend, I inadvertently pinched the turn signal wire between the nut and the rear fender, when replacing the mudguard. Wire was stripped and grounding on the mudguard. Almost always, retrace the steps of the "master of disaster" (aka "me", the aspiring technician) and you are sure to find the new bug in the system...👍
