Default Battery

I have a 2011 Street Gide. i recently bought a battery thru e-bay (Deka ETX18L Battery-OEM). I thought I was ordering the correct battery but when I got it, it was have the size of the original stock battery. Probably a stupid question, but, can I use the new battery in my bike? If so, what do I do to make it fit? It seems longer and narrower that the original battery.

I assume you meant half the size? What brand of battery is it. Shorai makes a battery that is half the size of stock batteries and are twice as powerful. Just need to make sure all the specs are correct. You can fill the extra space with hard insulation or heavy foam.
Edit:I see you stated the model of the new battery. Without some research I don't know anything about that particular battery.
