Same problem on mine today and here is the solution.
My 2015 limited just did the exact same thing. Headlights on and bright, dash lights on but radio display wouldn't come on. Noticed volt gauge didn't read. Hooked jumper cables to it and volt gauge went up and dash cane on. Problem was bad battery even though the led headlig t lit up nice and bright.
