Default B2137 error code (Daymaker) only when Wet

Installed a 5.75 Daymaker on my 2011 softail. When the bike is wet, either riding through rain or just after washing, I get the b2137 error code when using my high beam. I know the code is for "low beam output shortage high" and others have posted on this forum the same code after installing LED lights. Mine only does it when wet, I tried simulating it by spraying water on the headlight and the headlight plug and it doesn't do it. It's really not a big deal, does not do it when it dries out. I just wanna make sure something isn't exposed and getting wet that shouldn't.

Sound like you have a slightly loose or no dielectric grease on one of the connectors under the fuel tank.

What grease and where do you recommend it be placed? After the bike dried overnight no error codes. So it's got to be the grease.

At each electrical connector there should be some dielectric grease to prevent the moisture from getting into the connectors. Petroleum Jelly works well as a dielectric grease in a pinch.

Been a year and half or so since I put the LED in. The problem seems to have gone away, run through a ton of rain and wash the bike a lot. System may have adapted. Just keep clearing the codes and it might fix itself. Got codes from installing rear led turn signals but only if you use them with the engine off. Think that fixed itself too. Wish all the other parts on this bike were "self-healing"...lol
