Erratic charging

I have a 02 FLHT that while at idle maintains a constant 14v charge. When rpm's get above 2200 the bike voltmeter begins moving between 11-14.5v. I've double checked the VR connections, batter terminals, fuses, and relays but am totally stumped.

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. As nhrider1 says, use a multimeter to confirm what your bike's voltmeter is saying. Whenever doing electrical work use a multimeter, which will be much more dependable than the one on your bike. After all, your bike's voltmeter is a part of the electrics you are checking - there is no certainty it will tell you the truth!
