A brother of mine is having problems with his heritage. The dash lights, running lights, passing lights and tail lights will go off momentarily and the headlight will brighten. All will return to normal and may not happen again for several days, but may happen within minutes. I thinking it may be a loose/broken ground wire, but we have not been able to find anything. Anyone else have a similar problem?

Like others are saying check battery cables, grounds, voltage reg. Connectors.
If all looks good check the charging system and battery.
