Default electrical problem

2007 Road Glide

Repainted whole bike and reassembled.

Issues:
front left blinker.....blinker works no running light
front right blinker...running light is on very bright blinker very low
rear turn signals.....neither are working
speedo and tach.....when ignition is on accessory these gauges stay lit

I unplugged the the rear of bike under seat...same issues
I have moved front turn signals to the opposite side....same issue

Makes me believe that there is a wiring issue somewere in the fairing triple tree area....

I did have aftermarket handle bars put on at the end of last year(had
wires ran through the bars) and only got about 100 miles on after that.

Any ideas?????

If you have a Multi Meter you could check for voltage at the connectors for the lights.
I sent you a message that contains a link to the schematics for a 2008, I hope they are the same.
Harley's color code for lights:
BE Blue running lights
BN Brown Right Turn
V Violet Left Turn
R/Y Red with Yellow Stripe Brake light
The turn signals send a signal to the TSSM, turn signal security module,
right turn switch input to module is W/BN
Left turn switch input to module is W/V

Inspect the connectors for any broken prongs, dirt or corrosion. If they look good a little dielectric grease will help.

If you don't have a digital volt meter you can get one a Lowe's, Walmart, Radio Shack... anywhere for $20.

Let us know what you find
Bill

Check the pins in the connectors. Theyre pretty small and can bend easily.
