Low Fuel Indicator Light

Low Fuel Indicator Light
Hi.
This might be a "idiot thing" but I just can't get my low fuel indicator light to work on my custom project. I'm using the S&S intank fuel kit. This pump has a Thermistor which when submerged in fuel send the 12V current to ground. When the Thermistor is not submerged in fuel it will heat up a bit and open up the 12V loop to the bulb. So far so good. I have a new pump. Never used and I have a new thermistor. I have tried to connect the bulb direct to the Y/W and G wire out from the pump and I have tried to connect it to my OEM harness btw the Y and B wire. Either way it will not work. The bulb is ok. The wires are ok. Any ideas???
Enclosed are the wiring diagram for the pump + OEM wiring diagram and I have marked I\out where the OEM wires are for the pump and for the OEM gauge.
All help appreciated.
Regards
Leif
