I recently purchased a used 21013 Electra Glide Ultra limited. The previous owner has installed a stage two audio system with an amp located under the tour box. Also, he added led's in all lights fore and aft. I want to wire for a trailer, however, the plug from the rear lights is plugged into a split harness that runs fore and aft. Does anyone have any experience with such a scenario? Would adding trailer lights overload the battery.
Thanks for any help.
Thanks for the come-back. My trailer is a five wire. I had it hooked up to my previous bike but it did not have all the LED lights and double amp sound system that this bike has. That is why I was concerned about the added electrical load from the trailer.
Call kurakyn they will have what you need . Had same issue on my 08 ultra , jury had what i needed. What brand trailer ? Bought mine from USA MINI TRAILER IN OKLAHOMA . Took on a 5000 mile trip at 80 mph no issues at all .
