Have a miss while running after replacement of battery
I replaced the battery on my 2002 heritage classic. After replacement the bike ran fine for about 5 minutes. Then it started spitting and sputtering and idles rough . While idling when it's starts to idle low the lights dim . I feel.like there is an electrical issue . Possibly a bad ground . I have checked all the fuses they all look good. The battery is good and I have checked plug wires and battery cables. Need some help with other things to look for .
You need to check and verify the bike is properly charging. Check the charging output at the battery. If it's low, check the stator output. If that's good, you're most likely looking at a regulator. However, you should always start with basics like connection integrity, etc.
