Lost power while riding

important point, just died or loss of all electrical.
i had issue like that one time and it was the ignition system. the ignition controls current and dwell and had over current protection. for no reason, the ignition would trip out on over current. everything checked good, changed the ignition and using all the same other components, still kicking to this day. with a cycle of the ign switch, the system would reset and fail again, going from bad to worst. however, it would idle so a push off and jumping on and idling got me home.
