Default Battery date code help

I bought my '07 XL1200C about 2 yrs ago and I have no idea how old the battery is. The battery is an HD 65958-04. The only thing I can find on it that seems to be a date code under the negative terminal...see the attached pic.

Appears to be 7105M1.

Is this actually a date code? Translation?

There is also a larger code on it, in the center, "E7". Some have suggested this would be May 2007, but I would find it hard to believe this battery would still be working well in 2017.

Well, I'm told the E7 means May, 2007, and I have the original 10yo battery. Crazy. I bought a new one today. Not gonna chance it.

If you look on the bottom of the battery there is a date clock on it. Tells you when the battery was made.

Well, I installed a new battery tonight, woo hoo! Pulled the old one out and flipped it over and found the date clock.

Battery was manufactured in: MAR 2007

WOW! 10yrs old and running well. That's some battery.

I would say that you got all of the service from that battery
