Default Walmart Batteries

I'm sure this has been asked & answered 1000 times, but my search feature
doesn't function.

Are these ok to use?
It's my wife's 03 Heritage.

She won't ride it, but she won't sell it either (typical!!)

But, like mine it needs tires (age) & gen maint.

Thanks !!!

My BIL used to buy nothing but WM batteries. He just put in a new one every year whether it needed it or not.

stay away from the wetted ones. use a maintenance free sealed one. if you keep a tender on it, probably 3yrs. the hd 4>5 years.
find a deka battery online, they make the hd batteries and i replaced my 01 sport this year for 80 bucks vs 150 at the dealer.

I personally would never buy a Walmart battery. Your situation is a bit different. If she were riding it I would be concerned about a China-cheap battery stranding her somewhere. Seeing as it doesn't get ridden what's the worst that could happen?
