street glide extra switches
Greetings all! /2011 Street Glide/ I don't see exactly what I'm looking for when I try to search it but I'm looking to add a set of two switches to the left (unoccupied) side of my ignition. The right side is used for cruise and a power outlet. I will be using one for a GPS and the other will be a spare. Called the stealer and after scratching his head he gave me a part# of 70219-08 which looks like a replacement set for cruise/accessory. Is there anything under those blanks on the fairing or do I need the switch/harness he's referring to? If so are the caps replaceable? I obviously don't want another switch saying "cruise". I'm looking to ride Saturday so I don't want to rip things apart until after I have my GPS and everything else I need. Thanks in advance!

Spot or speaker switch's come individual. You should have the bracket already in there. 71434-96a. I wouldn't worry about there harness if you plan on hooking it to power up a GPS. Plenty of ways to tap 12v and you can just put the switch in series.
