Fried BCM?
Friend was having an issue with the wiring packed away in the frame in front of the tank (throttle side turn signal connection was intermittent)
Pulled the pin apart and decided to try to plug the wires together without the pin- was greeted with a small spark. Headlight and tail lights turn on when the ignition switch is turned. Nothing else works. Is a new BCM in his future?

Bump. Any help is appreciated. Im a complete electronics amateur.
Are we potentially looking at a blown fuse? Wouldnt the BCM mean zero electronics?
Ill also add that the light on the fuel gauge works as well.

the bike is a 2018 sportster 883. I switched handle bars and forgot to unplug the battery and now when I turn the bike on only the lights come on. I have no power to odometer no function on handle bars besides kill switch and it only turns on lights.. I changed my fuses and only my battery one was out.. theres no relays either..
