No Start
The last few times when I start my bike there was a random pause before she would fire up. The other night it wouldn't start. No lights either. Someone handed me one of those cell phone sized jump starters and that didn't work and it started smoking. After a minute, I turned on the ignition, got lights and tried push starting, no good. A fellow biker disconnected the Mini Beast air horn and colored LED lights from the battery + ,turned on the ignition ,got lights and she started. I don't know if that helped I was just glad it started. I pulled the battery (next day) ,12.93 volts. Checked for a bad goround ,under the seat ,nothing jumps out. I'm going to check the ignition switch and I'm waiting on a started solenoid rebuild kit (thinking the contacts in the solenoid are going bad). I'm wondering what else to look for. My bike is an 07 Night Train ,with 27K, I've had it 7 years. I am going to check the horn and led wiring. Suggestions please.

Battery passed, went to the local auto parts store and purchased a starter relay ,just to see if that was a cheap fix. Rode it almost 200 miles yesterday and she fired up the first time every time. I'll install the solenoid rebuild kit in a couple days (another cheap fix attempt).
