Need some help....2007 street glide...my brake lights are constantly on, checked fuses, brake relay and looked at wiring I can see. The directionals work but the hazards don’t, brake lights are constantly on, every so often the fuse box will make a clicking noise, anybody have thoughts on this? Thanks!
OK, so front switch may have been pinched by the brake lever upon install and broke the switch.
so everything seems to be working as it should and the brake lights are still constantly on but....they go out when I pull the relay out and go on when I put it back in....when it’s in and I pull the front lever and press the rear lever the lights flicker...I would say it’s a bad relay but I put the starter relay in its place and it still does the same thing
Then it's not the relay, unless the starter relay is bad too, which I doubt. I would say that you have a shot to ground somewhere. Disconnect the rear brake from the switch, and see if that works. If not reconnect the rear brake, and disconnect the front brake switch. Whichever side makes it work, the other side is the problem. If neither side is the problem, check grounds, then start chasing wires.
Just for stupid, have you checked the direction of the bulb, it is an 1157 type bulb and the socket should not allow you to install it backwards but it may have been forced (inadvertently).

I disconnected rear brake switch, brake lights still on, disconnecting front isn’t so simple, I have apes with internal wiring....I took front brake lever off to see if switch was stuck and it’s clean and moves freely...could the switch be just burnt out? If it’s not the front switch it has to be a ground wire...thanks for the help
