Hello old chap, from darn sarf. Does anything electrical work, such as horn, lights, brake lights? My money is on a dead battery, alternatively bad connections on the main battery cables. I suggest you remove the battery from the bike and charge it, using a proper battery charger, not a minder/tender. Check both ends of both battery cables, by disconnecting, cleaning and refitting, preferably with dialectric grease or vaseline, to keep out corrosion. Check your battery for voltage once charged, which should be around 12.5-13 volts with no load. Refit and try again. If the battery doesn't perform well get it load tested at a local car-parts store, which should diagnose if it is OK or toast.
