For you code experts; Was going through diagnostics on my electronic speedo and this one came up under the "S" position. b1155. (turn signal/turn signal security mode) It won't clear. My turn signals work correctly. However they are transplanted LED type from custom Dynamics that went on the bike last year. Bike is a 2010 FatBoyLo. The other curiosity is with the red dot on the speedo. It comes on after cycling the igniton switch to on and through an engine start and usually stays on for a period of time then goes off.
I think I red once before that this may have to do with oil pressure. Just can't remember. Too old to remember. Not too old to ride though. This speedo is one of those flashy 600 color combination speedo/tach. My oil pressure is fine. I run with a dial face gauge. Always runs in the 30-32 psi range on a fully heated engine at cruise and 10 to 12 PSI at idle. But as said the light eventually extinguishes. Just curious if it's related to the oil circuit. Or does that red dot light have to do with security system, which this bike doesn't have. I'd appreciate some insight if someone has it to share. Thanks. I did look at the excellent DR V-Twin post on codes. Couldn't find it there. Bike runs great and has no other codes.
