I have a 2011 Street Bob with the buttonless FOB security. My ride into work yesterday everything worked as expected, however on my ride home..... Not any more. Currently, I do not have a working horn, turn signals or brake light. All of which I do understand are on the ACCY fuse circuit.
I have checked all fuses (ohmed each one out and all were good). The turn signals do blink when the security system engages.
I would like your thoughts before I dig in too deep. Is there a common ground for the ACCY circuit? A common junction point?
One other point of note: I did have the front of the bike apart this winter however it has been back together a few months and a few hundred miles without issue until yesterday.
If all the fuses are good, I am thinking loose connector somewhere or wire. I had bad connector once in a fairing that would act up at times.
Tough thing about working on vehicles finding easy place to put your meter. Trouble shooting is looking to find out where where there isn't votlage and should be. Sorta simple. But need good drawings and places to put a meter. That can be the hard part.
