i see LED headlight & taillight replacement parts and turn signal insert kits but I just want to replace the bulbs with LED Bulbs or LED High Intensity bulbs. Is there any harm that I can do to the electrical system if I do this? I have a 2012 Dyna Super Glide. Thanks for the help.

On reading reviews on 1156 and 1157 LED bulbs on Amazon, I see people are using these bulbs on their motorcycles for turn signals and brake lights so I guess no harm done.

Nope, no harm can be done with your bike if you install quality and correct style LEDs.
Make sure to put you bike in accessory mode and turn on your hazards for a few minutes after installing until the system recognizes the new bulbs and the flashing cadence returns to normal.
And yes, Custom Dynamics is probably the best stuff out there!
Most 1156 and 1157 direct replacement LEDs won't fit. You'll need bulbs with a tapered section of bulb before it meets the socket
or it won't go deep enough to twist and lock the pins. They're harder to find than you might think because of the design of the reflector.
Actually you can blind oncoming drivers. LEDs should not just be installed in standard enclosures because the light pattern can scatter. Nothing like blinding an oncoming truck while you are on 2 wheels.
Look at the incandescent bulb that came out, the tip is coated so it does not throw light out the front. LEDs don't do have the tip covered, and in many cases the result is a bright, yet scattered or uneven pattern.
Research it a little and you will find a lot of info on it. You won't get that info from the companies hawking the bulbs. Have you ever seen a car coming at you with just blinding white, non focused light? Of been across a highway and been surprised about how in the world you are getting hit from an errand part of a beam? Guess what they did?

Now that’s something to think about, Ed. These will be going in turn signal and brake lights with colored lenses, might just get the amber and red LED’s too. Thanks for the input.

Turn signals and brake lights ok, headlights are the issue.
