Hope all is well with everyone... I just picked up a set of Saddlebag LED Tail lights, and I suppose I could go on a search on how to hook these things up, but figured it would be easier to ask the pros...lol
This is what I bought: the lights have a 3-wire jacketed pigtail, (I am assuming that within the 3 wires, I have a positive, ground, but the third has me guessing?) They were not listed as being able to be used as blinkers or stop lights, but is this possible?
and this is what I have to install it on:
any and all info will be greatly appreciated, MLLH&R

Reason: Additional information
Those are designed to be run as RTB lights, they woul connect in as described in the installation instructions that came with them. If they do not have any instructions on the board under the stop lamp there are 2 open plugs next to each turn signal connection, you'd just pin and connect the wires there.
Get yourself a 12volt source and connect ground to negative and in turn each of the other wires to the positive terminal. I suspect the leds will light up with 2 intensities; running light and brake light.
I think I found the set at www link
Description states: No installation instruction included
Looking at some images I doubt the set came with the connectors to be used at the taillight board.
Here's a lay out and image of the taillight board. To connect your set to the board you have to use a 73153-96BK socket housing plus the corresponding receptacle contacts 73191-96./
Do like Andy described to find out what wire from your set is light and stop. Mostly black wire is used for ground.

Ok well I checked the wiring on the new saddlebag tail lights I bought, and found that color coding went as follows:
Black - Ground
Red - Running Light
Green - Brake Light
So after installing the lights on the back of the saddlebags, and drilling the holes (very reluctantly) for the wires to pass thru, I took
off the seat to expose the wire harness, and proceeded to install the adapters provided with the lights I bought, well unfortunately
after the installation, I turned on the bike to check the lights, and noticed that the new lights were not working, everything else was operational,
so after some extensive wire tracing, I found out that the harness adapter that was provided with the new lights was bad, so now I have to either return
the adapter and wait the shipping time back and forth, or just splice the wires into the system, which is probably what I will do, so thanks all for the advice
and help.
