Question Grips with indicators

Hi all, seeing as I'm new to the forum, I'm not sure if something similar has been posted before, so here goes:

I am thinking of installing new grips on my '09 Dyna Street Bob (with the wiring running inside the mini ape hangers). So the grips I'd like is ones with indicators at the ends:

Listing: https://www.gumtree.co.za/a-motorcyc...20912518053309

So my question is: Has anyone installed something similar, and how will I go about connecting the wires to the current front indicators (keeping in mind I will remove them and flip my mirrors to below the bars - see image below).

So in a nutshell, I'm just concerned that I order the parts and when it arrives, I won't be able to connect / fit them properly.

Looking forward to your feedback...

So you will not be re using the original signals? Is this an international bike not a domestic one? I saw that the grips have 1156 bulb sockets and only 2 wires so no marker lights, otherwise depin the current wires in the connectors, crimp pins on the wires and install the new wires in where the original wires were, otherwise not much to it.

Do you have internal wiring? You'll run the wires inside the bars and connect them
to either the wires of the existing lights (solder and heat shrink or tap connectors.)
or to where the wires from the existing light go (unpin old wires and pin new wires).

Thanks for the feedback:

No, I will not be using the original signals any more - it's a South African bike (I think they import them on UK specs), so my current turn signals is only that, they are off when not in use (if I understand you correctly of course). So the way I see it, I'll only need to hook up the grip indicators to the existing wires, which will be removed from the current ones.

My main concern is still whether I'll need to modify anything to get the wires fitted through the handlebars. The bars are internally wired at the moment...

Yes, I have internal wiring, my concern is just that I have seen heated grips having to be modified to get the wires from the grip to the inside of the bars... so I'm not sure if I can link up the new wires with the existing ones on the inside of the grips, or maybe inside the switch panel on the bars.

So wire length would be the only issue from what I can see. If the wires are long enough to get to the connectors then pins would be the only thing needed, which is the rout that i would take, if the wires aren't long enough then yeah cut and splice from the current lights.
