Default Help

My husband has a road glide, when we moved and it had to be in storage for a couple months the battery was drained. Bought a new battery, couple days later it’s dead! What else could this be besides electrical? Never had an issue at all before the move.

First things first, what year is the bike? Second thing to do is to run an ammeter between the battery ground and ground with the ignition off to see what the power draw is, then start pulling the fuses to see where the power draw is coming from. This issue could be anything from a failing Voltage Regulator to an accessory not turning off.

The ignition switch was probably left in the on position.
