2005 springer softail intermittent security starting issues

My 2005 springer softail is having intermittent security starting issues, The last time, i turned the dash key off and with the fob in range when i turned it back on it wouldnt start,i HAVE GONE TO CARRYING 12 SPARE 2032 BATTERIES CUZ OF HOW FREQUENT THIS HAPPENS so dont tell me fob battery cuz thats not it. Even with me off the bike after arming and disarming still nothing. The last 2 times it happened I ended up disconnecting the bikes battery, reconnecting then arming and disarming and finally got it running. Why does this happen and can i disable this pos security crap?

Swap out the TSSM for a TSM.

Can you elaborate on tsm what is it?

TSM= turn signal module
TSSM= turn signal security module. That's what you have.
There's a bunch of posts about them on this site, so do a search and/or Google.

Set the security code to 1 1 1 1 1. You can then just rock thru the signal light switches to kill alarm.

It's silly to be fumbling trying to replace a FOB battery on the road.

Then you don't need to carry batteries. Also determine if it's the problem. Make sure battery on bike is 12.7 volts and cables are tight.

Does alarm have the siren? An 05 may need the 9 volt rechargeable battery replaced
