Let me dust off my crystal ball...im seeing a touring model...of pre Rushmore era...new owner...new handle bars...bike ran fine before...oh what to do...what to do???
But seriously...a little more info about the bike ,if you really want help would be... well a big help.

If that was the case the starter would not engage. Without any info on what the bike is, when it started, what was done just before it started, any lights that come on when it stalls, any DTCs thrown we cannot possibly know anything about what is going on with the bike.
