Default TPMS issue

so, today I got a new thing - while riding for a while in high temps and 'high' (haha) speed, about 85mph i got a RED light in the speedo, and the tpms light on the tach... blinked for a while then solid.
cycled the odo to read the front PSI and it was 'dead', showing -------
decided to ignore it, and after a while lights went off and pressure was reading normally again.

is this something to be concerned about or just another of the normal harley glitches?
warranty is about to expire, but complaining to harley about things that are difficult to reproduce are often pointless.

any glitch is concerning. i assume the system uses internal tire sensors and not wheel speed sensors. what concerns me is the other light, what was it.
internal sensors can go bad, even be affect by BIG tennis shoe wearing 18 wheelers since it is an rf system. then there are battery issues and perhaps circuit board issues with the sensor. it is a lot of trouble but if it happens again and it is the same one, swap positions to see if trouble follows.
then there is the possibility of the onboard computer having a glitch simple as a bad connection of a break in com's.

well I later checked the error and got

C0083 (some 'generic TPMS error')
C2000 (error in front wheel sensor)

yes them sensors are inside the wheel... maybe the battery is on its way out, as the bike is a 2019 but bought by me last year with extremely low mileage, so the tires are still original.

will try to do some research on how those sensors work.

the average battery life is 5 years on a car. if you want to take the trouble, the battery can be replaced.
on a car, you can usually pull the bead off the one side and pull the sensor but i doubt you can with a mc tire being so stiff. but you can mark the tire and rim and break both side.
you might get lucky and use a c clamp to compress the one sided removal.
on cars, you use a scan tool to read the sensor, then clone it to the new so position remains the same. if the battery goes, then there is a learning procedure on most systems. the mc, not sure as i haven't fooled with any.
i have found out one thing, buy from the dealer, there are many scammers out there selling so called OEM but they are NOT!!!! been there done that, but that does not mean not shopping around. i bought a set for my grand daughter's car and within 6 months, shinola only to save about 15 bucks a sensor.

yup - reasearch shows that the battery should last 5-7 years normally - so mine are still young
did a longer ride today, hotter temps, passenger, higher speeds... no lights or codes. probably some cosmic event caused it.
